Northease Manor School

About Us

There are very few organisations that genuinely change lives – and Northease is one of them – we’re a charity that’s been helping to improve the lives of autistic children and young people and their families and carers, for over 50 years.

At Northease, we role-model educational excellence, combining specialist expertise with passion and freedom to deliver meaningful outcomes for our young people and all those who have touched their lives. We build confidence, character and capability to realise potential today, tomorrow and into the future.

We are proudly part of The Independent Schools Association, which is an organisation of independent schools in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1878, it is one of the country's oldest such groups.

Highly qualified and experienced staff that truly understand your child and because we combine academic study with a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities, we bring out the best in everyone.

"Northease Manor is a truly amazing school.

Nestled in a stunning rural setting in the heart of the South Downs, we are able to remove the barriers and limitations that are all too often placed on students, particularly those with special educational needs, ensuring a fun, rewarding and successful school experience for all.

At Northease we never lose sight that when parents entrust their children to us, they have given us the greatest responsibility and the greatest honour – and we promise that we will do everything in our power to bring wonder, joy, magic, happiness and fulfilment into their lives.

Our passionate and inspirational staff work closely with students to create a uniquely happy, supportive and trusting atmosphere. We work together to transform students’ lives and provide them with myriad opportunities to discover and develop the confidence, skills, knowledge and ultimately the self-belief necessary for all of our students to become happy and productive global citizens.

The whole school community, and I would be only too pleased to share our school with you and give you the opportunity to see for yourself what makes Northease Manor so special.

We’re a co-educational Independent school for primarily autistic students and/or students with dyslexia.  With specialist staff and resources, we offer high quality teaching, fully integrated occupational and speech and language therapy supported by our high quality pastoral support.

We are a registered charity, which means we do not have commercial owners.   We are DfE approved to accept students with local authority funding, if available, and because of our charitable status we are able to offer affordable fees for those who are self-funding."
