Housekeeper

This is an outstanding opportunity to join our dedicated team in a specialist SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) setting. You will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing environment that supports the educational and personal development of our students. With your empathetic and caring attitude, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of our school community by ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

As a key member of our domestic team, you will be responsible for daily cleaning, supporting school events, and undertaking deep cleaning during holiday periods.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven reliability and punctuality. 
  • Experience in cleaning or maintaining facilities in a similar environment. 
  • Awareness of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and workplace health and safety practices. 
  • Professional appearance and commitment to personal cleanliness, representing the school positively. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure. 
  • Experience of working within an educational setting.
