I.S.I. Inspection Report
Northease meets 100% of Independent Schools Inspectorate standards
We are pleased to report that Northease Manor School has passed all 8 of the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) standards. What is more, the ISI did not identify any concerns, follow-up actions or any recommendations.
Reporting into the Department for Education (DFE), the ISI regulates independent schools’ compliance in key competence areas, such as quality of education, health, safety & welfare, development and leadership. Of 186 inspections carried out recently by the ISI, one fifth did not meet one or more standards. The report is therefore a fantastic achievement for Northease.
We continually strive to create a safe, engaging learning environment where children and young people can thrive. To have our policies and practices endorsed by a third party – not least, the regulator - is a huge vote of confidence in favour of our approach.
Of several comments made by the inspector, we would like to highlight this one, which beautifully sums up what we are seeking to achieve at the school, on a daily basis. “Principles and values are actively promoted which facilitate the personal development of students as responsible, tolerant, law-abiding citizens.”
